Three people are dead and one is in critical condition following a crash on Highway 61 in Wentzville. Investigators said that after a 1995 Ford Escort struck the rear of a 1996 Acura, the Acura traveled across the median before being struck broadside by a 2010 Ford Escape. The driver of the Acura and a child passenger were pronounced dead at the scene. Another infant in the Acura died at the hospital the next morning.
